“When the lyric hits”

Another day in the bag. Had two more songs smack me in the ear and almost break my soul. “Be Alright” and “So Good” both really lit me up today.

I hate crying. I know it’s natural and human and I’m okay with that…I just prefer not to do so. It is what it is.

I did see a graveyard in a yard today:

That was kinda neat and very much a reminder that Halloween is fast approaching. A spiffy little part of my day.

As a result of these songs hitting me I had another kick me in the teeth. This one plays into my BPD and my mental health. “Little Numb”…it reminds me of Motion City Soundtrack in the way that it’s playful in its lyricism and kind of jokes about needing meds and having the disorder. Made me feel less alone.
